Disappointing...

It is sad that the soccer team lost its match with hall 7. We were clearly the better side. You need more than just skill to win a soccer match, sometimes you need luck. Nonetheless, we had fun. We certainly gained a lot of experience from this inter-hall tournament. The fact that I was injured for most of the time frustrates me. All thanks to an idiot who doesn't use his brain during training. Hopefully next year will be better. The only problem is whether there will be a next year. If the hostel fees are going to be so bloody high, I can foresee that many ppl will not be staying in hall 3 anymore, including myself. I do not wish to leave. My frens are here, my memories are here, my time and effort is spent here. However, I may not be able to come up with so much money to stay in the new hall 3. I could have stayed in a single room in other hall with $240, instead of $350.

Merry Christmas...

Haven't blog for a while. Had wanted to wait for all the photos from different events to come in first, den I can post at the same time. However, the ppl who has the photos din go online, so I can't get the pics from them. Only managed to get some.


Had a BBQ at Pasir Ris on the 23rd Dec. All thanks the Gavin, Wending, Chin Ee and Weiquan who 'pang seh' me, my logistic side only got one representative! Thank you Eng lye for coming. Hope you had fun. Nothing much actually, just eat and exchanged presents. I got a mug with a lid from Lifei. Haha... not bad, got cats and dogs printing on it. I like cats and dogs. Jian wei got my windchime. I thought it looks kinda cute, but he say he dun dare to hang it cos he's scared that he will attract spirits... haha. Whatever~

Went for the final caroling session on the 24th at Four Season's Hotel. There were 2 sessions. I thought we din sang well for the 1st session, we fared better for the 2nd one. Anyway, I'm just glad that it is finally over. Not that it wasn't fun or whatever, but it is definitely one load off my shoulder. Met a few interesting ppl, learnt a few christmas carol, experienced singing in public (not that I din do it b4), ok lah... it was not bad. But I dunno if I'll be joining choir again next year..haha.


Celebrated my fren's son's, Kyler, one year old birthday on the 25th. It was more like an army gathering. Catch up with Paul, Guili, Junyi, Chrong meng, Hong, Yang and of cos my roomie, Samuel. Had wanted to take a photo with Kyler, but he fall asleep. Wasted. Only had a few shots of him. His eyes is the same as Yang! Single eyelid. While looking at him, I wonder... when will it be my turn? How interesting...

I still can't believe it. I actually passed my first Maths examination in NTU. Nonetheless, I still did badly for my exams. Even though it is kinda expected, I still feel disappointed. Seems like things ain't going well for me recently. Hopefully it will get better.

Happy birthday Zixiang!!

This entry is a little late as my brother's birthday is actually on the 15th, which is yesterday. I have not forgotten abt it at all. Just that I wasn't free and able to go home and celebrate his birthday to him. Been so busy recently. Soccer training in the day, boggle training in the evening till 3A.M. Still got social event to prepare. Need to get ready the stuffs and programmes for Christmas party on the 19th, which is next Monday. Went around publicizing the event in the evening. I'm supposed to dress up as a skeleton. I totally dun look like one and the costume is so bloody warm. I was sweating underneath the costume. The bad news is that I'm supposed to wear the same thing on the 19th. The good news is that the venue is air conditioned. I think I look more like a clown.

If not for the many things to settle, I would have been at home eating cake and playing game now. Even my dad called me to ask me to go home. Haiz... I couldn't be home earlier also because I've got CAC FOC meeting in the afternoon. And to think my chairman was saying that we should commit more time into FOC. Hello~ birthday only once a year u know?? I've not skip any meetings or outings unless I've got something on, so never doubt me u understand? I dun have to explain things to you. You just have to believe in me. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Time...

Time... the only thing that is fair to all. Unbiased to everyone, even the richest person in the world can't have more easily. How is it possible to have more time? One may only gain more of it at the expense of others. And it would usually involve unsporting or unscrupulous means that never appeal to the general public. One should never repine that they do not have sufficent time, for it is us who do not make full use of it. The smartest man is the one who manages to make the most out of the seemingly limited infinity that is existent to all. Apparently, I've wasted too much time. Procrastinated many matters which I should have long accomplised whenever I have the opportunities. My laid back attitude doesn't inspire and galvanize me to settle the outstanding issues that has been distressing me. Time passes too fast. So fast that i haven't had the chance to fully exploit it before it elapse. I wish I can reverse time. There is too much things that I missed, too much regrets have been haunting me. Perhaps the problem lies with my choices. If I had made wiser decisions and be less hesitant, my life would have been a lot more colourful. I wish I could freeze time too. Let the beautiful moment last forever. Enabling me to savor and appreciate every bit of it till the very day I get surfeited. Sigh... No point looking back and fascinate. Make the best out of your time before the sands in your hourglass finish flowing.

Frosty!!

Met up with the FOC main commers yesterday for dinner after I went to my office. I guess I really have been staying in hall for too long alr. Forgot how to get to certain places and got mixed up over Cineleisure and Lido! There wasn't much interesting things, just a normal dinner. The only highlight was the giant snowman outside Tanglin Mall. The few of us took a number of pics while trying to shield ourselves from the falling 'snowflakes'. There were lots of children running and playing in the area. Haha.. makes me feel young while hanging around that area.


We had dinner at Delifrance. Can't decide on a place to eat, but there wasn't much choices anyway. Throughout the meal, i could hearing the Christmas songs playing in the background. Reminded me of the songs that I learnt in choir camp. The tunes kept ringing in my head. Damn. The other interesting thing was about an unexpected pairing. Never knew about something till yesterday...haha. I guess they need more opportunities.

Had wanted to change my blogskin after the 50th entry. However, i can't find a suitable one. Just bear with this one till I find the one then. I'm still searching.

Hectic week...

Really busy for the whole week. Been so occupied by hall activities such that I have to stay in hall throughout the whole week. Haiz... think I can only go home on Sunday. Had choir camp from Mon to Wed, damn boring! Had to learn 16 Christmas songs for caroling within the 3 days. Whole day sing song from 10A.M. to 10P.M., 12 hours straight!! Didn't really want to go for caroling initially, but since I've spent so much time learning the songs, I think I might as well go.

Had a meeting with the FOC committee on Thurs. We haven't seen each other since the last meeting which is in Oct. Not bad... we had some cakes, courtesy of Andrea (who claims that she had nothing better to do at home except baking cakes) and the birthday personnel in the month of Oct to Dec, Joseph, Jianwei, Yinglin and Xiangxin (Kaiching also, but she wasn't present). After which, a few of us had a mini talk cock session. Haha, really damn crap, and I think I made a fool of myself with all the lame jokes. What to do? Everyone got things to discuss except a few of us who are 'outcasted', we need to entertain ourselves. Btw, I'm quite surprised that meeting ended in less than 2 hours. Record breaking short. It used to be super draggy.

Watched Chicken Little with Aimee and Yongjie in the evening after that. I have to say it is a lot better than expected. It is really funny if you can understand all the spoofs and jokes in the movie. Fish out of the water is so cute, I think it is even better than the furry alien. The pig is quite hilarious too. If you haven't watched it, I'll recommend you to go watch it.

After the movie, it's time for boggle training. Unbelievably long. We trained from around 8P.M. to 1A.M.. So many words to memorize, all memory work. Nonetheless, it is still quite fun. I hope my language will improve when I play more boggle...haha. The problem is that there's quite a number of ppl taking part, so not everyone will get the pts. How sad. Hopefully, I can make it into the team.

I dun have much to say abt soccer training except that I think I kinda sprained my ankle. My fitness level also dropped drastically due to the flu I'm suffering from. Hopefully I can recover in time for Sunday's match. Catch up with my army frens in the evening. Had dinner b4 we went to the NBS bash in China Black. All I can say is that the bash was a disappointment. So many army guys, for a moment we thought it is a 'Tekong' bash. We left shortly for supper b4 we went over to Alvin's place to play cards. Can't play for too long as I still got things on in school the next day.
